Support company operations through building maintenance and/or cleaning duties at all Kennelwood Pet Resorts locations. Assist manager with location maintenance. Travel to Kennelwood Pet Resorts locations.

Primary responsibility is to insure Kennelwood Pet Resorts locations are safe and ready for daily operations.

Full Time Position

Hours: 7:00 am to 4:00 pm - Monday through Friday

DUTIES:

  • Keep properties clean and in good condition
  • Recognize areas of concern prior to problems and/or deterioration
  • Provide relative, timely feedback to staff and/or management
  • Use work orders to track department assignments and progress
  • Follow planned maintenance schedule
  • Use detailed job list to complete and track status of job assignments
  • Conduct regular site inspections using an inspection checklist
  • Extensive cleaning of KPR locations to meet and exceed OSHA industry standards
  • Make minor repairs to business equipment (tables, desks, etc.) 
  • Work with other Site Service employees to meet deadlines and/or complete assigned tasks
  • Perform other duties and maintenance related duties as assigned

While performing the duties of the job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, use hands and fingers, handle or feel, reach with hands and arms and talk or hear. The employee is required to balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee is required to lift up to 25 - 75 pounds on occasion. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.

  • Language Skills - Ability to speak, read and comprehend the English language. Interpret document such as customer receipts, special work instructions, departmental reports, budget reports, etc. Ability to write routine report and correspondence. Ability to speak and communicate well with customers.
  • Mathematical Skills - Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. 
  • Reasoning Ability - Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
